Darjeeling hill town was originally set up as a sanitarium or health resort by the British in mid 1800s. But over the years, it earned its name for its world famous aromatic tea and then with opening up of roads and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, for tourism.
You will see numerous sprawling tea estates in Darjeeling that produce world's best tea, as well as the amazing narrow gauge Toy Train - an engineering marvel of 1880s which could overcome the steep gradients and curves of the mountains and provided a scenic railway transportation in the hills.

Day 01, BADDOGRA TO DARJEELING:
Coming at IXB (Bagdogra), you will be met by our chauffeur, who will be shifting you to Darjeeling (100
Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs)
Coming at Darjeeling & rest of the evening at leisure time after the long trip.
Day 02, FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING OF DARJEELING:
The soon sunrise travel to (Darjeeling) Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to sight sun-up over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast go for a half-day touring of Japanese Temple, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Peace pagoda & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included and will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing and Gombu Rock, & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03, MIRIK & PASHUPATI:
After having breakfast shifting to Mirik (5800 Ft / 1768 Mts / 50 Kms / 02 Hrs one way). Full day excursion of Pashupati Nagar (Indo-Nepal border) for shopping & Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boat is available around the lake on direct payment basis). Evening comes back to Darjeeling & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04, DARJEELING TO PELLING:
After having breakfast, you will leave for Pelling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts, 125 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Overnight
at Hotel.
Rest of the evening at leisure time after the long transact.
Day 05, FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING OF PELLING:
After having breakfast we take you for a full day tourism of Pelling (5840 Ft / 1780 Mts, 35 Kms / 02 Hrs) on way panoramic exploring of Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfall, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lakes and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. The myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird & Kanchanjunga Waterfall. A further transact takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the 1st capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the 1st Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06, PELLING TO GANGTOK VIA NAMCHI SIGHTSEEING:
After having breakfast, shifting to Gangtok via Namchi sightseeing
NAMCHI
Namchi, meaning ‘Sky High’, nestled among the hills at an elevation of 4400 ft, commands a panoramic
view of the snow-capped mountains and vast stretches of valley. It’s about 78 kms from Gangtok & 100
kms Siliguri. With important travel projects down the line, Namchi is fast picking up us a significant
destination.
SIDDHESHVARA DHAM, SOLOPHOK
Located about 5 kms from Namchi on top of the Solophok Hill Siddheshvara Dham is a unique pilgrim
Centre. The whole complex is divided into 4 main elements (1) A 108’ tall statue of lord Shiva with 12
jyotirlingas (2) Replicas of 4 Dham, Badrinath, Jagannath & Dwarka dedicated to Lord Vishnu &
Rameshwar to Lord Shiva (3) Sai Baba Temple & (4) Krateswar Statue Beside Nandi Bull, Sai Temple, Sai
Dwar, Kirat Dwar Shiv Dwar all provide one platform for Guru Padmasambhava in the world.
SAMDRUPTSE
72 kms from Gangtok close Namchi in South Sikkim is Samdruptse which means “The Wish Fulfilling
Hill”. A 135 ft. state of Guru Padmasambhava is connected at the top of Samdruptse. His Holiness the
Dalai Lama Laid Foundation stone of the statue on 22.10.1997. It’s said to be the statue of Guru
Padmasambhava in the world.
Day 07, GANGTOK:
Go for a full day sightseeing covering Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Water Fall, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Flower Show, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View point. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08, TSONGO LAKE + BABA MANDIR:
After having breakfast, in the morning, start for the promenade to Tshangu Lake - located at an altitude of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is flawlessly attuned with the scenic loveliness around. Come Back to Gangtok & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09, DEPARTURES:
After having breakfast, you will be shifted to IXB airport to catch your forward flight.
