Snow Leopard is the most enigmatic and elusive of all the world's large cats. A denizen of high mountain ranges, its presence is more often revealed by footprints in the snow but, as previous Nature trek groups can verify, with planning and luck it is possible to see this mythical mammal. With the aid of local trackers and guides this adventurous expedition goes in search of Snow Leopards amid the mountains of Hemis National Park in Ladakh. This is a physically demanding holiday utilizing basic local homstay and camping but the rewards will be the truly spectacular mountain scenery of the ancient kingdom of Ladakh and a real chance of finding this high altitude predator as it follows the resident Bharal, or Blue Sheep, to more accessible lower elevations for the winter months.The snow leopard found singly, inhabiting the most inaccessible terrain of rugged mountains, preferably steep terrain broken by cliffs midges and gullies. In the winter their main attraction is the livestock nearby villages, because of high mountains covered by snow most of the wild life descent to search of grassing and water.

Day 01, Delhi – Leh:
First of all, fly from Delhi to Leh in the morning. On coming at Ladakh, meet our representative. Check in to the pre-booked hotel. Take rest & be acclimatized. Visit the best local market of the Leh in the evening. Overnight remain in the hotel.
Day 02, Leh :
After breakfast, we will take a trip to the best local market in Leh. Overnight remain in the hotel.
Day 03, Leh Local sightseeing:
Today, we shall visit the local attractions in the area. The cicerone will attend you in the visit. Some of these attractions are Leh Palace, old quarter, Victory Peak & offices of a local conservative organization. Overnight remain at hotel.
Day 04, Leh – Phey – Hemis National Park:
After breakfast, we shall transact to Phey. We will start our trekking today & shall walk from Phey along the great gorges of Indus River to reach Hemis National Park. After reaching the park, we will set our tents for an overnight stay.
Day 05, Hemis National Park:
Today, we will enjoy the wildlife viewing in Hemis National Park, which is home to various other exotic fauna species like blue sheep, Tibetan wolf, large horned sheep, wild ass, etc.
Day 06 - Day 11, Visiting the nearby villages & enjoying a home-break.
Day 12, Trek to Zingchen – Leh:
Early in the morning today, we will trek down to Zingchen. From Zingchen, drive to Leh and later check- in to the hotel. Enjoy the dinner & the overnight remain at the hotel.
Day 13, Leh – Delhi:
Reach the airport early in the morning to boards flight for onwards journey.
